A deeply moving memoir that reads like a late-night conversation with your soul. Route 47 is raw, real, and unexpectedly spiritual — charting Molly’s return home to care for her dying father, only to be pulled into a whirlwind of memories, family wounds, and the quiet mystery of the number 47.

Meet Molly, who lives in Palm Springs, California, where she has been revitalizing the game of golf with all of her expertise and interest. She holds a lifetime membership of the PGA of America and enjoys carrying on her Father’s legacy by following his favorite pastime. Molly loves to hike in the mountains with her pups. When she gets some spare time, she explores different areas of writing; however, the real niche of her storytelling is her way of showing the raw and real version of life.
This is a book with flavor equal parts heartbreak and humor, grit and grace. It doesn’t shy away from the messiness of death or the chaos of family but somehow still leaves you with a sense of peace and wonder. Written with unfiltered emotion and touches of dark comedy, Route 47 offers more than just a story of caregiving. It’s a soul-searching journey through pain, forgiveness, and the signs that sometimes appear when we’re ready to see them.

This book is based on a true story and will make you laugh out loud, cry and pray... I love how the author drew parallels between the sport of golf vs life... and death. It's a book that's hard to put down, a real page-turner. The characters come to life in very colorful ways. I would like to read more from this emerging author.

This is an unflinching and moving portrait of the death of a father, told by his daughter. The author's spare descriptions and realistic dialogue put you in the room with her and her cancer-ridden (and guilt-ridden) dad. The book is about a death, but it is just as much about the living. Funny, tragic, compelling to the last page.

I absolutely LOVE this book. You never know what you will experience when a family member is in the process of passing. Every family, everyone experiences something different. This story is unique and brings you into it. It's a page turner and a hard one to put down.
