About Author

Frank Decotis

Frank DeCotis is a retired pastor, counselor, and devoted husband who spent decades leading New Hope Family Church in Cranston, Rhode Island. Known for his down-to-earth teaching and expository insights, Frank’s passion has always been to reveal a Jesus worth following — not a distant figure of doctrine, but a living, loving Savior. Now residing in Spring Hill, Florida, Frank continues his ministry through writing, using humor, honesty, and spiritual candor to reach hearts in a world aching for authenticity. Bike Path Wisdom is his first book — a collection of deeply personal conversations with Jesus, penned during the most painful and transformative chapters of his life.

BIKE PATH WISDOM

Bike Path Wisdom is more than a book — it’s a spiritual journey. After losing his 35-year-old son to a devastating illness, Frank DeCotis began walking the bike path behind his Rhode Island home — not just to clear his mind, but to meet with Jesus. What followed were raw, intimate, and often humorous dialogues that challenged everything he thought he knew about religion, grief, and the goodness of God.

This book is for the questioners, the doubters, the wounded and the weary. With unfiltered honesty and conversational prose, Frank brings you into the sacred space where faith gets personal — and Jesus meets you where you are.

What Hooked The Readers?

Reading Bike Path Wisdom felt like walking beside someone who’s been through the fire and still chose faith. Frank’s honesty about loss, grief, and questioning God gave me permission to ask my own hard questions. This book didn’t preach to me—it walked with me. I’ll never see my quiet time the same way again.

This book changed how I relate to Jesus. I’ve sat in pews for years but never felt the kind of closeness that Frank describes—until now. The conversations with Jesus in this book feel so authentic, so real, that I found myself tearing up more than once. It’s raw, it’s bold, and it’s exactly what modern faith needs.

I bought Bike Path Wisdom after losing my brother last year, hoping for some kind of comfort. What I got was more than comfort—I got clarity. Frank puts into words what most of us are too afraid to say out loud. It’s not just a book—it’s an invitation to meet Jesus in your pain, your doubt, and your questions.
